IAVA Action Releases 2008 Congressional Report Card This Tuesday
Every Member of Congress, Including Senators Obama, McCain, and Biden Graded on Veterans Voting Record

WHAT: Press conference call discussing IAVA Action's newly released 2008 Congressional Report Card

SUMMARY: On this call, IAVA Executive Director Paul Rieckhoff and Policy Director Vanessa Williamson will discuss the release of IAVA Action's 2008 Congressional Report Card.  The Report Card grades every member of Congress on his or her voting record on the most critical issues facing Iraq and Afghanistan veterans including the GI Bill, VA funding and mental health care. It reveals which Senators and Representatives are showing up in Washington, putting their money where their mouths are, and truly supporting our troops and veterans.  Find out which lawmakers have skipped key votes, compromised on veterans' issues, and learn if your state's leaders qualify for the A-team or the D-list.
